CALLING ALL CZECHS! CZECH CAROLING NIGHT! Sunday, December 15, 7 pm. CZECH HOT DRINKS TO KEEP YOU WARM AS YOU SING! Song sheets with Czech Christmas songs so that you can at least pretend you are singing along. We shall convene at Doma to gather our sheets and fortify with a drink. Then we shall sing our way up Bedford, Barrow, Commerce, Morton. Then we shall re-warm our bones with Czech drink fortification before stumbling home full of holiday cheer. The event is free, song sheets will be a-plenty, and and drinks are just $4 for carolers. A little bowl of GULASH WITH KNEDLICKY, just $6 for carolers.
Drinks you might find on CZECH CAROLING NIGHT -- Mulled wine, "Svařák", Grog, "Horký čaj s rumem", "Vaječný likér s rumem" or without rum for kids - "Vaječný likér bez rumu". And of course, PIVO. That's beer, for those Americans still following this post.
